Royal Court

SINCE 2009 · THE HOUSE IS OLDER

Life at
Royal Court

An early 1900s palazzo, born as a private residence. The family has been letting strangers in since 2009.

Our history & family

The building is a palazzo of the early 1900s, born as a dimora d’epoca. Inlaid wood, classic furnishings, Art Nouveau details. A carved marble relief is original to the building; nobody knows where it came from.

Our grandfather, Lorenzo, was a banker who rode and raced horses. One of them was called Royal Anthem. The horse on the door came from his.
